Workers Welfare Fund [WWF]
established and governed by the government at provincial and federal level providing a holistic package of services to industrial workers, which includes provision of Marriage Grants, Death Grants, Talent Scholarships, establishment & maintenance of Labor Colonies and establishment & operations of Workers Welfare Schools in various districts.
The student enrolled in any program of and is a child of an industrial worker is eligible for this scholarship. The father or mother of the applicant must meet the following criteria:
- 1. Be classified as a "worker" or "workman" as per IRA 2012, employed directly or indirectly in an establishment or industry, and receive pay or reward for their work.
- 2. Be registered with Social Security or EOBI Schemes.
- 3. Have accumulated a minimum of three(03) years of service.
- 4. Be actively employed at the time of submitting the application.
